At the Oil City YMCA, we provide high quality affordable child care. We provide family-centered, value-based program to help nurture the development of every child. Our YMCA Child Care Center is located at 316 West First Street in Oil City, just a few blocks from the Y. The YMCA has expanded the Child Care Program to meet the needs of the community for affordable, quality child care. We participate in Keystone Stars. You can be assured that your children are receiving awesome care.
Our child care hours are 6 am – 6 pm Monday – Friday. We are state licensed and participate in Keystone Stars. Financial help is available through Child Care Information Services at 855-294-9015.

Infant/Toddler Child Care
–Warm and nurturing care for your little one ages six weeks-three years. Formula, lunch and snacks provided. Staff/Child Ratio 1:4 infants, 1:5 young toddler, 1:6 toddlers. Infants: $165/week full time, $123/week part-time; Toddlers: $160/week full-time, $120/week part-time. Full-time children receive free YMCA Membership while enrolled.
Preschool Child Care
–Care and caring for children ages 3-5. Breakfast, lunch and snack provided daily. Preschool class and swim lesson included. 1:10 Staff/Child Ratio. $150/week full-time, $110/week part-time. Full-time Children receive free YMCA membership while enrolled.
Preschool Class
–We can help get your child ready for kindergarten and teach them to swim in Y preschool. Three, four and five year old classes meet Mon., Wed., Fri. from 8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. with a fee of $110 per month. Y Preschool follows the Oil City School District Calendar during the school year. Swim lessons are held Monday. Gym class is held Friday. Snack is included. $120/month
Healthy Living
The Oil City YMCA Younger Days Child Care Center has received a grant through the Walmart Foundation to improve the nutritional value of all meals and snacks served in the early child care and after school settings during the school year. With the help of this grant, the Oil City YMCA Younger Days Center has implemented standards to ensure children are provided with healthy meals and snacks along with adequate amounts of physical activity. The standards the YMCA is adopting will build a healthier future for children by providing environments rich in opportunities for healthy eating and physical activity for children in our care.
