HOW TO REGISTER FOR YMCA PROGRAMS:

  • You may register in person by stopping by the YMCA Member Service Desk.
  • You may register on this web site by clicking the On-Line Registration Button found at the top of this web page.
  • You may download and print some registration forms at www.oilcityymca.org/resources and mail the completed form along with: your payment.
  • You may call us at 677-3000.  Please have your credit card ready.

YMCA FEEDS KIDS:  FREE MEALS FOR KIDS

Bagged Meal Pickup  6:30—7:30 pm; Monday & Thursday. Free for all kids up to age 18.  No income requirements.

NBA at the YMCA—Begins Jan.16

Basketball season is here for grades Kindergarten—Grade 5!  Learn fundamentals and skills through drills and live game play during this fun 6-week program starting January 16. Players receive NBA team shirts.  Jr. NBA meets on Saturdays.  Kindergarten 9:00 am; 1st & 2nd Grade 10:15 am; 3rd—4th 11:30 pm.; 5th-6th Grade 12:45 pm.

$27/Members; $47/Non-members

TAE KWON DO for AGES 6 THROUGH ADULT

Classes meet on Wednesdays from 6:15—7:45 pm at the YMCA Child Care Center.  Six week session fee is $22 Members and $32 Non-Members

  • Session Begins: January 6—February 10
  • Session Begins February 24—March 31

NINJA-NASTICS

Boys and girls ages 5+ will learn gymnastics, tumbling, climbing and flips while learning balance and moves like an American Ninja Warior.  The class will help improve body awareness, coordination, agility and motor skills.

Tuesdays & Thursdays; 5:15—6:15 pm
Monthly fee is $32/Members and $55/Non-Members.

FUNDAMENTAL GYMNASTICS—Ages 5+

Youth are introduced to skills in bar, vault, beam and floor routines.  For children wanting to pursue cheerleading and gymnastics, this program will help increase strength, flexibility and agility.

Tuesdays & Thursdays; 5:15—6:15 pm
Monthly fee is $32/Members and $55/Non-Members.

GYMNASTICS TEAM

The gymnastics team consists of gymnasts who have the  desire to compete.  The Oil City YMCA Tri-Stars compete at levels 2-9.  Team practices are Tuesday/Thursday 5:30-7:30 pm and other times TBA.  For more information, please call Head Coach Jess Elder at 814-677-3000.

HOLIDAY HOOPLA FUN FOR KIDS December 28, 29 & 30

Kids ages 6-12 can have fun during the holiday break at the YMCA from 11 am—3 pm. each day.  Each day will include crafts, games in the gym, group activities, lunch, swimming and more.  Members $10/day; Non-members $15/day.  Register by December 24, 2020.

INTRO TO FITNESS—Teens Ages 12-15

Work out with a wellness coach in a fun and educational     setting.  The focus of the class will be on weight training and proper gym etiquette.  This program meets on Thursdays from 3:00—3:30 pm.  The class is limited to five participants.  Please register in advance at the Member Services Desk to reserve a spot.  Intro to Fitness is free to YMCA Members and non-members will pay $25 a month.

NATIONAL YOUTH PROJECT USING MINIBIKES

National Youth Project Using Minibikes (NYPUM) is designed to motivate youth to make positive life changes through  positive peer and adult interactions. NYPUM is a national program using the privilege to ride a Honda minibike as an Incentive to    motivate boys and girls to make a positive change in their lives.  Participants earn the privilege to ride minibikes by achieving specific goals in their individual contracts and adhering to safety standards and rules of the program. COMMUNITY YOUTH VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

YOUTH VOLUNTEER DAY: Monday, January 18 from 6:30—7:30 pm.  Pizza, volunteer opportunities, welcoming new members. All youth members and non-members from 10-18 are welcome.  Register at the YMCA Member Service Desk!

The Community Youth Volunteer Program is open to Venango County youth between the ages of 10 and 18 . Participants in the program earn “time dollars” for each hour they volunteer up to 80 hours in a calendar year. The “time dollars” are   credited to the volunteer’s account at the rate of $4 an hour. SEVENTH GRADE INITIATIVE

Bring your school ID or report card to claim your FREE YMCA Membership during your 7th grade year.  Offer good for those currently in 7th grade.
