YMCA SUMMER DAY CAMP AT CAMP COFFMAN
Our day camp for ages 6-12 features a new art center in 2020, expanded horse program, more adventures for older kids, air rifle, archery, & Frisbee golf, character program that teaches values, exciting outdoor adventures, twelve fun-filled theme weeks, extended care 6 am to 6 pm, healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks provided, bus transportation to and from Camp Coffman is provided from Clarion and Oil City YMCAs. OLYMPIC THEME GYMNASTICS OPEN HOUSE
Come learn about our gymnastics program at our Gymnastics Open House on Monday, February 24 at the Oil City YMCA from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Free and open to the public. Come meet the coaches and the team. Kids can try the equipment. Snacks and refreshments.
SUMMER DAY CAMP OPEN HOUSE & FAMILY DAY at Camp Coffman

OIL CITY YMCA GIRLS AND BOYS BASKETBALL CLINIC with JODI GAULT
Instruction for girls and boys in grades 3-8 will include fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, rebounding. The program will also include 1-vs-1 contests, and 3-vs-3 contests, free throw shooting, hot spot shooting, and Mikan competitions. The clinic will take place April 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 & 29 and May 5 & 6 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5-7 pm. Jodi Gault is a former Pitt-Johnstown Women’s Basketball Coach and one of the most successful women’s basketball coaches in the NCAA Division II. She led Pitt-Johnstown to a 540-156 record in 25 years from 1982 – 2007. She has coached 20 All-Americans. Cost for the entire clinic (8 sessions): $50/members, $75/non-members, Cost per session: $15/members, $25/non-members.
AQUATIC EASTER EGG HUNT
Enjoy the tradition of Easter Egg Hunting with a twist on Saturday, April 11, 2020! Hop into our pool and collect as many eggs as you can. Eggs will be both floating and underwater. Collect your eggs and turn them in for a prize! Register from March 15-April 7, 2020. $5/members; $10/non-members. *Parent participation or swim test required.

NERF NIGHTS – February – May
Nerf Nights is a fun and organized activity for youth ages 4+. Nerf Nights is held on the last Tuesday of the month from 6:30—8:00 pm. Players are divided into teams. Safety glasses are Nerf darts are provided. Equipment is available to rent at the YMCA. Pre-registration is required. Call 814-677-3000. $3/Members and $6/ Non-Members. Nerf gun rentals are $2. Children age 4-7 must have an adult present.
TAE KWON DO – FOR AGES 6 THROUGH ADULT
Tae Kwon Do is a family sport that can be enjoyed by all ages beginning at six years old. Classes meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm—8:00 pm. Six week session fee is $22 Members and $32 Non-Members.

Lego Club for grades K-8 meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30—8 pm. Fun monthly themes will inspire kids to create Lego masterpieces. Snacks and drinks will be provided during each club meeting. Monthly Fee: $10.
YMCA FEEDS KIDS – Mondays & Thursdays
Our Food Program is offered free to any child through the age of 18. Healthy meals are offered Monday and Thursday evenings throughout the school year from 6:30—7:30 pm in the multipurpose room. Enrichment activities including homework help, swimming, open gym and games are available 5:30 –6:30 pm.
FLIP & DIP – March & April
A 30 minute gymnastics lesson followed by a 30 minute beginner swim lesson for ages 3-5. *Hint: Kids wear swimsuits for the gymnastics lesson for a quick transition. Parents must stay for the program to help with the transition. Register by the first of each month. Held Thursdays from 5-6:05 pm. $20/Members; $40/Non-members.
Youth indoor soccer will focus on fundamentals, basic skills, teamwork and sportsmanship for ages 3-11. This clinic begins Saturday, March 14 and lasts six weeks. Groups will be formed for ages 3-4 (9 am), ages 5-6 (10:15 am) and grades 1-5 (11:30 am). Indoor soccer meets on Saturday mornings. Register at the YMCA. All participants receive t-shirts. $27/Members and $42/Non-Members.
OUTDOOR SPRING SOCCER
This six week soccer program begins Saturday, May 16 for age 3 through grade 5. The program will teach skills through fun drills for the first three weeks. Games will be played during the remaining three weeks. Teams will be formed for ages 3-4 (9:30 am-10:30 am), ages 5-6 (10:45 am—11:45 am), grades 1-5 (12:00—1:00 pm). All participants receive t-shirts. $27 for Members/$42 for Non-Members.
KIDS YOGA—Tuesdays, 6:15-7 pm
A Yoga for kids age 6-11 is an exciting program that will help with balance, strength, endurance, and aerobic skills. Yoga for kids can help your child socially and academically by providing a better focus, increased memory, and improved behavior. Nicole Shreve teaches the class. All supplies are provided. Held Tuesdays, 6:15—7:00 pm. $20/Members; $35 Non-members
YOUTH PICKLEBALL CLINIC
Kids learn to play pickleball in our clinic held on Saturday, May 16 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Instruction will be provided from 10 am to 11 am. Open play will follow from 11 am to 12 pm. $5 for kids age 8-18. Classes meet on Fridays at 6:00 pm in the gym. Six week session fee is $22 Members and $32 Non-Members.
3-ON-3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
The Oil City YMCA 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will be held Saturday, May 2 at the YMCA. The tournament will be for ages 8+ and adults. Teams can consist of either 3 or 4 players. Separate divisions available for players based on skill level/experience, age, and gender. The tournament will consist of a round robin “regular season” where teams are guaranteed four games, followed by a single elimination playoff. The tournament will begin at 9 am. Register by April 29. Cost is $50/team.
T-ball for ages 3-6 teaches basic baseball skills like running bases, batting, throwing, and catching. This six week program will start with three weeks of skills followed by three weeks of learning through t-ball games. Teams will be formed for ages 3-4 (5:30—6:20 pm) and ages 5-6 (6:45:-7:45 pm). The program will begin on Tuesday, May 19 and meet each week on Tuesday or Thursday evenings at Mitchell Little League Field. All participants receive t-shirts. Parent participation is encouraged. $27/Members and $42/Non-Members.
SCHOOL AGE TUTORING PROGRAM at the Y
Our Tutoring program is for students in grades K-6. 30 minutes: $20; 60 minutes: $30. Monday through Friday from 5:00—6:00 pm. Mariah Groger is a certified teacher who can help your child increase academic skills. Individualized instructionwill be provided based on needs.
NINJA-NASTICS for Boys and Girls 6+
Ninja-Nastics is a class for ages 6+ that mixes gymnastics, tumbling, Parkour and the thrill of American Ninja Warrior into a fun program while combining tumbling, climbing, getting through obstacles, and even some flips to increase body awareness, coordination, agility and motor skill levels. Begins February 3. Held Mondays and Thursdays from 5:15—6:15 pm. Monthly fee is $32/Members and $55/Non-members.
PRE-K GYMNASTICS—Ages 3-5
Youth in Pre-K Gymnastics learn basic skills and fundamentals. This class is great for building strength while learning coordination and balance. Pre-K Gymnastics meets Mondays from 4:30—5:00 pm. Limit 15 children per class. Monthly Fee is $12/Members and $20/Non-Members.
FUNDAMENTAL GYMNASTICS—Ages 6+
Youth are introduced to skills in bar, vault, beam and floor routines. For children wanting to pursue cheerleading and gymnastics, this program will help increase strength, flexibility and agility. Fundamental Gymnastics meets Monday & Thursday from 5:15—6:15 pm. Monthly fee is $32/Members and $55/Non-Members.
The gymnastics team consists of gymnasts who have the desire to compete. The Oil City YMCA Tri-Stars compete at levels 2-9. Team practices are Monday/Thursday 5:30-7:30 pm and other times TBA. For more information, please call Head Coach Heather Marvin at 814-677-3000. Team Fee is $50 per month.
INTRO TO FITNESS—Teens Ages 12-15
Work out with our personal trainers in a fun and educational setting. The focus of the class will be on weight training and proper gym etiquette. This program meets on Tuesdays from 3:00-3:30 pm. The class is limited to five participants. Please register in advance at the Member Services Desk to reserve a spot. Intro to Fitness is free to YMCA Members and others will pay $25 a month.
TEEN ADVENTURE CLUB—Ages 12-18
Members of the club will have opportunities to experience adventures like zip lining, hiking trips, kayaking, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, paintball and more. To participate in the adventure, members will earn the privilege by volunteering for service activities within the community. For more information contact Jen Kissell-Dudek at 814-677-3000. New members are always welcome. Adventure Club meets the first Wednesday of the month, 6 pm at the YMCA. Cost: FREE!
COMMUNITY YOUTH VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
The Community Youth Volunteer Program is open to Venango County youth between the ages of 10 and 18 . Participants in the program earn “time dollars” for each hour they volunteer up to 80 hours in a calendar year. The “time dollars” are credited to the volunteer’s account at the rate of $4 an hour. The value of the hours volunteered can be redeemed for gift cards which can be used at participating area businesses. SEVENTH GRADE INITIATIVE
Bring your school ID or report card to claim your FREE YMCA Membership during your 7th grade year. Offer good for those currently in 7th grade.
