  • You may register on this web site by clicking the On-Line Registration Button found at the top of this web page.
  • You may download and print some registration forms at www.oilcityymca.org/resources and mail the completed form along with: your payment.

FREE Memberships for Area 7th Grade Students

Did you know that the Oil City YMCA offers 7th Grade Students a Free Membership? Registering for the FREE membership is EASY! Just come to the YMCA and present a recent student I.D. or Report Card.

YMCA Food Program - Returns in September

The Oil City YMCA offers weekly meals to local youth on Monday and Thursday evenings during the school year from 6:30 -7:30 pm. Enrichment activities will also be provided.

 

NERF NIGHTS

Come play organized games at our Nerf Nights.This fun activity is for youth ages 8+.Nerf Nights will be held the last Tuesday of the month from 6:30—8:00 pm in the Gym.

$3 for Members/$6 for Non-Members per night; Equipment rental $2 per night.

 

YOUTH ROLLER HOCKEY

Summer Session One: May 18 - June 29

Summer Session Two: July 6 - August 24

YOUTH ROLLER HOCKEY sessions are held at theHasson Heights Hockey DEK. Meetings will consist of a combination of drills and organized scrimmages toensure player development. Players will be organized based on their age and skill level, as well as player safety.

$36/Members; $48/Non-Members


FRIDAY NIGHT HOOPS LEAGUE

Summer is the time for athletes to sharpen their skills and improve their game.There is no better way to accomplish this than to play in a competitive league.The Friday Night Hoops League will begin on Friday, June 28 with games starting at 6:30 pm.Games will consist of two 20 minute halves on Friday nights. This league is available to youth in grades 5 through 8.Grades 5-6 will play in one division and grades 7-8 will play in another.Youth will sign up as a free agent and will compete in two skill evaluation games.Youth will then be split up into teams and given shirts for their teams.All games will be led by volunteer coaches to help with substitutions and coaching.

Cost:$42/Member; $55/Non-member

Summer Session: June 1 - August 10

YOUTH FOOTER HOCKEY is open to ages 4+.

All youth footer programming will be based on the ages and skill level of the participants registered.

PRESCHOOL TUMBLE TIME--Returns in the FALL

Tumble Time offers toddlers a safe environment to walk, run, tumble, climb, jump and explore. Songs, games and equipment will provide a structured and active playtime while developing physical strength, flexibility, confidence and social skills.Classes require parent or caregiver participation.Class will be held Wednesdays from 10:15 to 11: 00 am in the gymnasium.Monthly Fee:FREE/Members and $15/ Non-Members

TAE KWON DO - Returns in the Fall

For ages 6+! Classes meet on Wednesdays in the multipurpose room with Grand Master Williams and Chris Blauser from 6:30—8 pm. Six week session fee is $22 Members and $32 Non-Members.

 

 

COMMUNITY YOUTH VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

The Community Youth Volunteer Program is open to Venango County youth between the ages of 10 and 18.  Participants in the program earn "time dollars" for each hour they volunteer up to 80 hours per calendar year.   The "time dollars" are credited to the volunteer's account at the rate of $4 per hour.  The value of the hours volunteered can be redeemed for gift cards.  LEARN MORE

 

FLIP & DIP - Returns in the Fall

This program is held Thursdays, September through May, from 5 pm to 6 pm for ages 3, 4 & 5. Children begin with a half hour gymnastics lesson and then head to the pool for a 30 minute swim lesson with the beginner swim class. Parents must be present to help with the transition. Hint: Girls wear swimsuits for gymnastics and boys wear their trunks and a t-shirt for fast change. Monthly fee: $20 for members and $40 for non-members.

FUNDAMENTAL GYMNASTICS - Returns in the Fall

Youth ages 3+ are introduced to skills in bar, vault, beam and floor routines. For children wanting to pursue cheerleading and gymnastics, this program will help increase strength, flexibility and agility. Fundamental Gymnastics meets Monday & Thursday from 5—6 pm from September through May. Monthly fee is $32/Members and $55/Non-Members.

GYMNASTICS TEAM

The gymnastics team consists of gymnasts who have the desire to compete. The Oil City YMCA Tri-Stars compete at levels 2-9. Team practices are Monday/Thursday 5:30-8:30 pm and other times TBA. Team Fee is $50 per month. For more information, please call Head Coach Becky Berry at 814-677-3000.

TEEN ADVENTURE CLUB

Adventure Club is for boys and girls ages 12-18. Members of the club will have opportunities to experience adventures like zip lining, hiking trips, kayaking, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, paintball and more. To participate in the adventure, members will earn the privilege by volunteering for service activities within the community. For more information contact Jen Kissell-Dudek, Aquatic Director at 814-677-3000. New members always welcome. Adventure Club meets the first Wednesday of the month, 6pm at the YMCA.   *Funded through a grant by the Youth Philanthropy Program.

CAMP COFFMAN ACTIVITIES

YMCA Camp Coffman is owned and operated by the Oil City YMCA for year-round rentals, weddings, cabin rentals and seasonal activities by appointment.

TEEN INTRO TO FITNESS

Teens ages 12-15 will work out with a wellness coach in a fun and educational setting. The focus of the class will be on weight training and proper gym etiquette. This program meets on Thursdays from 4:15 - 5:15 pm. The class is limited to five participants. Please register in advance at the Member Services Desk to reserve a spot. Intro to Fitness is free to YMCA Members and others will pay $20 a month.

A 30 minute gymnastics lesson followed by a 30 minute beginner swim lesson for ages 3-5.*Hint:Kids wear swimsuits for the gymnastics lesson for a quick transition.Parents must stay for the program to help with the transition. Register by the first of each month.Held Thursdays from 5-6:05 pm.
