HOW TO REGISTER FOR YMCA PROGRAMS:

  • You may register in person by stopping by the YMCA Member Service Desk.
  • You may register on this web site by clicking the On-Line Registration Button found at the top of this web page.
  • You may download and print some registration forms at www.oilcityymca.org/resources and mail the completed form along with: your payment.
  • You may call us at 677-3000.  Please have your credit card ready.

YMCA TRUNK-OR-TREAT

Announcing Trunk-or-Treat for the Oil City community brought to you by the Oil City YMCA! The event will be held Saturday, October 31, 2020 in the Hasson Heights Dek Hockey Parking Lot from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for local kids age 0-15!  Community businesses, organizations, and groups wishing to decorate a trunk and pass out treats can contact Sarah Schwab at officemgr@oilcityymca.net or call 814-677-3000.

FUNDAMENTAL GYMNASTICS—Ages 6+

Youth are introduced to skills in bar, vault, beam and floor routines.  For children wanting to pursue cheerleading and gymnastics, this program will help increase strength, flexibility and agility.  Fundamental Gymnastics meets Tuesdays & Thursday from 5:30—6:30 pm. Monthly fee is $32/Members and $55/Non-Members.

GYMNASTICS TEAM

The gymnastics team consists of gymnasts who have the  desire to compete.  The Oil City YMCA Tri-Stars compete at levels 2-9.  Team practices are Tuesday/Thursday 5:30-7:30 pm and other times TBA.  For more information, please call Head Coach Jess Elder at 814-677-3000. Team Fee is $50 per month.

TAE KWON DO

Tae Kwon Do is held at the Oil City YMCA for ages 6-adult.  Class meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:00—7:30 pm with Chris Blauser, a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.  Youth and adults may participate together. Cost:  $22/members; $32/non-members for 6 wks

KIDS YOGA

Yoga for kids age 6-11 is an exciting program that will help with balance, strength, endurance, and aerobic skills. Yoga for kids can help your child socially and academically by providing a   better focus, increased memory, and improved  behavior. Nicole Shreve is the instructor.

  • Held Tuesdays; 6:00—6:45 pm
  • 6-wk session:  $25/members; $40/non-members
  • September 22—October 27

COMMUNITY YOUTH VOLUNTEER PROGR

The Community Youth Volunteer Program is open to Venango County youth between the ages of 10 and 18 . Participants in the program earn “time dollars” for each hour they volunteer up to 80 hours in a calendar year. The “time dollars” are   credited to the volunteer’s account at the rate of $4 an hour. SEVENTH GRADE INITIATIVE

Bring your school ID or report card to claim your FREE YMCA Membership during your 7th grade year.  Offer good for those currently in 7th grade.

NATIONAL YOUTH PROJECT USING MINIBIKES

National Youth Project Using Minibikes (NYPUM) is designed to motivate youth to make positive life changes through  positive peer and adult interactions. NYPUM is a national program using the privilege to ride a Honda minibike as an incentive to motivate boys and girls to make a positive change in their lives.  Participants earn the privilege to ride minibikes by achieving specific goals in their individual contracts and adhering to safety standards and rules of the program.
