At YMCA Summer Day Camp your child will make friends, ride horses, explore nature and create lifelong memories all under the guidance of awesome Camp Counselors who will care about them and believe in their potential.
Shhh. Don't tell the kids it's Child Care. They'll think it's just lots of fun.

Week 1: Camp Kickoff
Campers & Counselors will get to know each other through an array of ice breakers, games, themed days and team challenges.
Week 2: The Great Outdoors
Campers will go on daily outdoor adventures in and around this beautiful camp. Campers should be prepared for lots of hiking and sightseeing. Campers will explore nature, go on scavenger hunts and much more.
Week 3: Drip, Drip Splash
Get ready to make a splash during this wet and wild week of camp! Campers will enjoy various water activities suchas water bucket relays, water balloons,water balloon toss, water tag and more.
Week 4: Summer Fiesta/Camp Coffman's Got Talent
Join in our celebration by hitting the pinata, playing fiesta inspired games and dancing to the Macarena. Show your creativity with recycled materials in the thing-a-ma-jig competition, and have fun at our Talent Show.
Week 5: Under the Big Top
Come one, come all to the greatest camp on Earth! Join this wild and wacky circus troupe. Learn magic, funny tricks, learn about circus animals, arts and crafts and the science of what makes the circus fun.
Week 6: Holiday Hullabaloo
Come all ye faithful to a week surrounded by holiday fun. Celebrate Valentine's Day, Halloween and Christmas....and who knows what else we might cook up. Bring your costume for the Halloween Mash Dance.
Week 7: Sports of All Sorts
How many sports can we fit into one week? Let's find out as we wear ourselves silly with as many games, matches, and tournaments as we can cram into five days. We'll include skills and drills, and assorted activities to improve balance and focus while building strength and motor skills. Your team is counting on you. Come join in the fun.
Week 8: Wacky Tacky Tie Dye
Time to get wild and crazy. Show us your best crazy outfit (we will be tie dying this week).
Week 9: Icky Sticky Creations
Put on your lab coats and get ready to experiment with all sorts of slimy, gooey stuff during Icky Sticky Creation Week. You will make slime, create explosions with soda, and create your won play-dough and more.
Week 10: Under the Sea
Anyone for a game of sharks and minnows? Wanto make a Soctopus? Feel like challenging Neptune? Mermaids, shells, fish, whales...and did we mention SHARKS abound as we explore life under the sea through nature and craft projects, storytelling, skits, and friendly competitions. Of course, no Under the Sea week would be complete without some wet, wild and wacky water games as we'll find plenty of ways to beat the heat. Here's one siren's song, you'll be glad you heeded.
Week 11: Summer Olympics
Will occur at the same time as the Summer Olympics! Campers will learn about the sports of the summer games as well as the countries that participate in them. Campers might become "citizens" of a country for a week to help their team win a medal. On Friday, we'll dress up in sporting attire from teams and countries near and far.
Week 12: Camp Closeout Week
As the summer winds down and the beginning of the school year gets closer, spend one more week at Camp Coffman enjoying your favorite summer time activiites.
