Did you know that we offer Child Watch for children ages 8 months to 8 years while their parents work out in the YMCA facility?

9:00 am - 11:30 am Monday through Friday and 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday. This service is FREE FOR YMCA MEMBERS, $2 per hour per child for non-members.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR YMCA PROGRAMS:

  • You may register on this web site by clicking the On-Line Registration button found on the top left of any web page.
  • You may download and print some registration forms at www.oilcityymca.org/resources and mail the completed form along with your payment.

MEMBER LUNCHEONS

Luncheons are held monthly at the Oil City YMCA. Gather with friends and socialize while eating some great food! We ask that you pre-register prior to each luncheon and bring a covered dish to share!

    --Friday, June 15th at 11 am—SALAD SOIREE—Bring your favorite summer salad dish to share.

    --Friday, July 20th at 11 am—OUTDOOR PICNIC—Hot dogs and hamburgers provided. Bring a dish to share.

  3. --Friday, August 17th at 11 am—NACHO BAR—Bring your favorite nacho topper to share! Nachos, cheese and beef provided.

"SUN'S OUT GUNS OUT" POWER LIFTING MEET - July 21

Come test your strength a the Oil City YMCA Powerlifting Meet on Saturday, July 21. Three lifts include Bench Press, Squat and Deadlift. Weigh-ins begin at 8:30 am. Each participant receives a tee. This event will be held in the gymnasium due to growth of the meet. Entry Fee: $20/member and $35 non-member

OIL CITY YMCA TRIATHLON - June 9

Mark your calendar for the Oil City YMCA Triathlon on June 9 at 9 am at Two Mile Run County Park. Swim 1/4 mile, bike 12.1 mile, and a 3.1 mile run/walk. Register at the Oil City YMCA.

ADULT ROLLER HOCKEY

Adult Roller Hockey Leagues are held throughout the year at the Hasson Heights Dek Hockey Facility. You don’t need a team. Our Roller Hockey Staff will connect you with players of your skill level. PICKLEBALL

Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Learn in our skills clinics or attend to play in games! Tuesday & Thursday Games; 8 am—12 pm, Saturday; 8 am–10 am. Beginner clinics Wednesdays, 8:30 –12:00 pm. TAE KWON DO

AGES 6 THROUGH ADULT

Six week session fee is $22 Members and $32 Non-Members

WEDNESDAY CLASS: With Chris Blauser in the multipurpose room from 6:30—8:00 pm; Spring: May 2—June 6; Summer: June 20th – August 1st (No class July 4th)

FRIDAY CLASS: With Grand Master Williams in the gym from 6:00—7:30 pm; May 4—June 8

    Calorie Killer Challenge - July 1 - August 31

    Track your calories in the Wellness Center, Pool and Weight Room. All activity must take place in the Oil City YMCA. Registration fee is just $5. All participants receive recognition and a chance to win the prize basket. Register at the Member Service Desk by July 1.

CARDIAC REHABILITATION - PHASE III

For individuals having completed Phase I and Phase II. Program offered between the hours of 7:30 and 9:45 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Monthly fee $15 members/$25 non-members.

HEALTHY FRIENDS PROGRAM

The perfect program for those who have completed therapy or who need to begin a regular exercise program. Receive guidance and support to help you become stronger and healthier. Offered between the hours of 7:30-9:45 am on M/W/F.

  • Level 1: $15/Members & $40/Non-members monthly

LEARN TO RUN A 5K

Become stronger, healthier and faster with each step!  Pick up your training schedule at the front desk.  Schedule your running sessions with Katie Port.  All ability levels are welcome.  Sign up with a friend and stay committed together.  This program is ongoing. Register now for $20.

PERSONAL COACH

Train three times a week by appointment with a personal coach. Monthly fee $50 members/$75 non-members.

PERSONAL TRAINING

NEW SMART START PROGRAM

FREE PROGRAM FOR NEW MEMBERS—$150 Value

Smart Start is a program that provides you with the tools you need to reach your fitness goals. The program is customized to your needs and will help you set attainable goals and provide the ongoing support necessary for your success. In three short meetings, we can take you from an exercise skeptic to a confident individual who is excited about working out. In just a few sessions, you will gain the tools and resources that will help you succeed!FREE for NEW YMCA Members During the First Month of Membership.

FITNESS ASSESSMENT

Under the direction of a YMCA Trainer, you'll ride a stationary bike to help assess your cardiovascular fitness and endurance. You will also be weighed and measured along with a flexibility, strength and endurance test. This will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses and help you to determine a work out plan to achieve your fitness goals. FREE for members by appointment.

      Track your miles (swimming, running/walking, and biking at the YMCA) and reach the goal of 31 miles in 31 days. Those who complete the miles will be entered to win gift cards. Cost to participate: $5.

      NATIONAL WALKING MONTH—April 1—April 30

      Sign your name on a foot in the wellness center and participate in a walk. Free!
